Chanchal's 12-year-old son works behind the camera for Aynabaji series

'Each & every member of our family has played a vital role to finish the shooting successfully'

The news that director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury is coming back with a three-episode web series with the popular characters of blockbuster Bengali film 'Aynabaji', is not new anymore. The latest news is that actor Chanchal Chowdhury's 12-year-old son- 'Shaishab Roddur Shuddha' is running the camera for the shooting of a part of ‘Ghore Boshe Aynabazi’ series.

Actor Chanchal, popularly known as ‘Ayna’, the central character of ‘Aynabaji’ film, said, “Director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury is creating a three-episode web series with the three popular characters of ‘Aynabaji’ film- Ayna, Hridi and Crime Reporter Saber. The sole purpose of the series is to raise mass awareness about the deadly coronavirus. Due to the current lockdown situation, director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury has instructed us from his home via video conference and by the end of the shooting, we all have sent the raw videos to him.

“Each & every member of our family has played a vital role to finish the shooting successfully. As an example- my 12-year-old son has worked behind the camera while his mother assisted him.”

 Actor Chanchal Chowdhury's son ‘Shuddha’ shared his experience of running camera for the first time, saying: "Though I felt a little bit nervous at first, but finally I am very happy & excited to be able to complete the shooting smoothly. Many thanks to parents and uncle Amitabh. Without their kind support & suggestions, it would have never been possible for me to do it job alone.”

Aynabaji is back to its audience with an awareness story wrapped in mystery- during the crisis of Coronavirus. The teaser of the series 'Ghore boshe Aynabaji' has already been unveiled and drawn a fair share of attention.
