Hassan Abidur Reja Jewel has released a new album after seven years of hiatus, through a launching ceremony held at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro Auditorium, on Thursday.
The album Emon Holo Koi marks Jewel’s 10th solo effort, which comprises of five tracks, including a Tagore song. Rest of the songs are penned by Shahan Kabondho.
Bappa Mazumder composed the album alongside producing it under his banner, Bee Emmz Workstation.
Musicians Fuad Naser Babu, Labu Rahman and lyricist Zulfiqer Russell, among others, graced the launching ceremony, which also brought out a music video of the singer, “Khub Sokaley.” The singer also revealed that a few music videos will come out shortly.
Previously, Bappa and Jewel have worked together for another album, Ek-e Shohorey, and Jewel has sung under Bappa’s compositions on several occasions, for some mixed albums.
