On Tuesday, American film-maker Michael Moore said that his newly revealed documentary about Donald Trump will finally defeat the US president.
Under a “cloak of secrecy,” the production of his new documentary Fahrenheit 11/9, named after the date when Donald Trump was declared president-elect, has already begun. The documentary chronicles Trump’s victory over Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, and his tumultuous tenure as the US commander-in-chief.
Moore said in a statement, “No matter what you throw at him, it hasn’t worked. No matter what is revealed, he remains standing. Facts, reality, brains cannot defeat him. Even when he commits a self-inflicted wound, he gets up the next morning and keeps going and tweeting. That all ends with this movie.”
Though no release date has been slated, producers Bob and Harvey Weinstein informed that they have already purchased the rights of the documentary.
An Oscar winner for his gun-violance documentary Bowling for Columbine, Michael Moore is also set for a one-man show expected to premier on Broadway this summer. Previously, Moore made another film about Trump titled Michael Moore in TrumpLand, which was released in October last year.
