Eminent Nazrul Sangeet singer Shusmita Anis will perform live on Channel i’s popular morning musical show Gane Gane Shokal Shuru on Wednesday. The music show will be telecast from 7:30am to 8.45am.
Starting her musical journey as a disciple of her aunt, the legendary Nazrul sangeet singer Feroza Begum, Shusmita specialised in Nazrul Sangeet from an early age. She is also specialised in modern Bengali songs, especially those composed by her uncle, the legendary composer Kamal Das Gupta. Shusmita also covers a wide range of musical genres with versatility and grandeur in her musical performances.
Renowned tabla player Syed Meher Hossain will accompany Shusmita Anis, while Yousuf Ahmed Khan will host the programme Gane Gane Shokal Shuru.
