Oprah Winfrey, former day-time talk show host, has launched a new series which will attempt to spark meaningful conversations about the coronavirus outbreak.
The series titled Oprah Talks COVID-19 is available on Apple TV+ and can be viewed in more than 100 countries.
In Oprah's first installment, she interviewed British actor Idris Elba who was tested positive for coronavirus, along with his wife Sabrina Dhowre. Sabrina has also been diagnosed with coronavirus.
Given how the internet is full of misinformation with regard to the pandemic as of now, the series will attempt to debunk some of the myths surrounding the crisis.
Oprah wrote on Twitter: "Like millions of people all over the world, I've been staying safer at home for over a week now. I know a lot of people are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, & uncertain.
Because of that, I want to offer some hope & gather thought leaders and people going through it to add some perspective."
