Popular rock band Warfaze is all set for a playback song in the film, titled Girgiti. The band will sing the title track of the movie.
The film is directed by Sourav Kundu and produced by Up Studio production house and publications.
The director in a press release stated that some of the band members of Warfaze will be performing the song in the film as different characters but not in a traditional manner.
"We have been fans of Warfaze since our childhood," said Hamidul Hasan Nabin, the founder and CEO of Up Studio production house and publications.
"We grew-up listening to Warfaze and it helped me in developing the sense of art, he added.
Director Kundu said: "I feel really fortunate to have Warfaze in my first film."
The director also expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Monirul Alam Tipu, the drummer and band-leader of the band, for making this collaboration happen.
Speaking to Dhaka Tribune's Showtime, Tipu said: "We will also write some of the lyrics of the song, as it is the title track, so lyrics would be based on the story-line.
"We also have arranged music of the song and it will be completely ready by April.
"It will be a rock song," he added.
He also informed that the shooting of the film will begin by the end of this month.
