Director Fakhrul Arefeen Khan’s upcoming movie Gondi is on the editorial table now. The post-production of the film is going on in full swing, while the actors of the film are busy with dubbing.
There is another good news for the fans who are eagerly waiting for the film, as Indian music director and film composer Debojyoti Mishra is all set to compose the background score of Gondi. He will also direct the music for one of the songs of the film.
"I like the story of the film. Towards the end of last year, Fakhrul Arefeen Khan shared the film’s story with me, and afterwards I agreed to do the background score. I hope I can give the audience something really good,” said Debojyoti Mishra in a press release.
"Many youngsters, who are very dedicated, are working behind the camera in this film,," he added.
In the film, veteran actor Sabyasachi Chakrabarty portrays a 65-year-old man alongside Suborna Mustafa.
The first part of the film was shot in London while the second part was shot in Cox's Bazar.
Based on Reza Arif’s script, the movie is about a friendship between a 65-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman, who develop feelings for each other.
The cast also includes Aparna Ghose, Majnun Mizan, and child actor Fiona.
To film maker Arefeen’s credit are documentaries like Haq-er Ghar, Al Badar, and The Speech. His feature film, Bhuban Majhi, is based on the Liberation War of 1971.
