At the show, two films, Shaheb Bibi Golam and Praktan won multiple awards in different categories.
Tollywood superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee won the best actor in a leading role (male) award for Shankhachil by Goutam Ghose. The best actor in a leading role (female) award was bagged by Swastika Mukherjee for her powerful performance in Shaheb Bibi Golaam by Pratim D Gupta. In fact, SBG was among the big winners of the night along with the blockbuster film, Praktan by Shiboprosad Mukhopadhyay-Nandita Roy, and Cinemawala by Kaushik Ganguly.
