In the age of digital and online media content, a Bangladeshi YouTube-based media company, Rongon Films, is launching nine dramas this Eid. They are directed by six talented directors and will be released on Rongon Film’s official YouTube Channel.
“Our main goal was to spread the joy of Eid online, alongside regular television, and hopefully the audience will appreciate it,” said Hasib Hasan Chowdhury, the company’s owner—speaking at a press conference in Dhaka, on Saturday afternoon.
Rongon Film’s marketing agency, Motion Rock Entertainment, was founded by Masud Ul Hasan, who said, “We are planning to release 20 more original works this year.”
Mabrur Rashid Bannah directed two dramas entitled, “Manush Hobo,” and, “Bed Scene.” “Manush Hobo,” featuring Shaon, Sabila Noor, and Irine Afroz, will be released on 21 August. “Bed Scene,” starring Irfan Sajjad and Tanjin Tisha will be released on August 27.
Moreover, Kajol Arefin Aumi’s, “Just Chill,” featuring Abir Mirza, Tasnova Elvin, Srika Sabah, and Hillol will be released on August 22. Aumi’s, “Passport,” starring Safa Kabir, Tawsif Mahbub, and Munira Mithu will be released August 26; and, “Tattoo 3,” starring Arfan Nisho and Mehjabin, will be released on August 28.
RB Pritom’s, “Abar Tora Twing Ho!,” starring Riaj, Nova, and Shahtaj Monira Hashem will be released on August 23.
“It’s My Life,” directed by Tapu Khan, which features Tamim Mridha and Tasnuva Tisha in lead roles, will be released on August 25.
Partho Protim Nath’s, “Head or Tail,” starring Tamim Mridha and Shamim Hasan Sarkar, will be released on August 26.
