When asked if his food vlogs are ever going to be seen outside Dhaka and Kolkata he replied: “Of course. My content is Bangla and I got places where a Bangali can go or wants to go or a place where people will want to go after seeing my contents. I do have plans for those as well.” [embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vT9ROv5hdSg[/embed] After visiting and reviewing foods of Kolkata, the 300 years old Cultural Capital of India, he will go on a divisional tour of cities of Bangladesh like Khulna or Chattogram. He later on wants to go on a food vlog trip to Thailand. Like this Hillol wants to keep travelling and reviewing local cuisines of different cities of different countries. He also said that he has plans to review foods of USA as he has to visit there once each year to meet his family members living there. Hillol has also made plans to visit Delhi at end of November this year. The TV star previously used to upload one episode at a time, but from his recent Kolkata visit he has started to upload two episodes for each location. He will later on categorise his content based on location and cuisine type. He also wants to highlight and make several contents on Thai cuisine. “I want to focus on Phuket and also made an episode on Phi Phi Islands. I want to gradually focus on each thing, and don’t want to congest the whole thing,” he said. Hillol explained that he has an army of two with him where one shoots him while the other one helps him edit. As he loves what he is doing he is financing the whole production by himself for the time being. “My team members are currently earning through the Adsense revenue from Youtube,” explained Hillol. Hillol also explained that this channel does not just give information on food. It also provides information like how a person can go there, what transportations are available, how much is the fare and other information like these. He also thinks that it is more of “food tourism” rather than food trip videos. “But whatever it is, nothing will be added to these videos except food for now,” said Hillol. Adnan Faruque Hillol is currently busy shooting for various projects. Recently, he became a model for TVC which is expected to be aired soon.
As soon as you open his channel, he can be seen drinking and talking about Puran Dhaka’s traditional lassi in one video or Mawa’s Hilsha fish fry in another or just roaming and eating around the famous restaurants of Kolkata in other videos.
At the very beginning of the discussion he talked about his recent work where he visited Kolkata for new episodes of food and restaurant reviews for his channel. He said that he brought everything back on his camera from the famous Coffee House to the famous food places around the city. There are even directions on how to go to these places in his videos. He also said that he already uploaded two episodes from the Kolkata sessions.
When asked about why is he suddenly making web content all by himself without any previous declarations he smiled and replied: “I eventually had to come to the digital world sooner or later and I am preparing myself through making content about the thing I love to do.” Hillol then explained that he is a passionate foodie and that is the reason it was the first thing that came into his mind when he first started thinking about web content. Now he is regularly producing his on food vlogging sessions and reviews.
