“Doob: No Bed of Roses” will compete with 10 films at the 28th “Festival Cinema Africano Asia e America Latina” in Milan, Italy. The festival will take place from March 18-25 at San Fedele Auditorium.
This is the first film festival for “Doob” this year. The movie will be screened on March 21 at 21:15 and on March 22 at 16:45 at the festival.
During the festival, director Farooki is invited to lecture at Milan Film School on March 22. The National Museum of Cinema in Turin has also organized a special screening of the film on March 23.
Farooki told the press, “I’m happy to see the profile of the other films in the competition. I feel honoured to be invited to Turin Film Museum and Milan Film School. I love to get closer to the young filmmakers; because it helps me renew myself.”
“Doob” was released in theatres in 2017 in Bangladesh, India, Australia, US, France, Singapore and Malaysia.
