Update : 15 Dec 2017, 10:07 PM
Much to the delight of their aficionados, famed rock band Miles’s frontman Shafin Ahmed and songbird Dilshad Nahar Kona rendered their voice together for the first time. Titled “Duti Hridoy,” the duet number was released on December 14 on GP Music. The romantic track was penned and composed by Shafin himself. “I don’t usually do duet songs. This is one of my first attempts in this regard and I’ve voiced the song with Kona. I believe the audience will love Duti Hridoy,” Shafin told the Dhaka Tribune. The song came amidst a controversy that has plagued rock band Miles and its members for a while now. In the most recent turn of events, frontman Shafin has issued a legal notice on Thursday to stop using the band’s name in any concert or programme without the approval of its members. When asked about the recent bickering among the legendary rock troupe, Shafin said that he was planning to hold a press briefing soon to clarify his stance in this connection.
