Director Badrul Anam Saud, who has earned plaudits for his works in the small screen, is all set to release his full length directorial début Gohin Baluchor on October 20. Ahead of the release of the film, the team has released the first poster of the government funded film on Friday.
Featuring the faces of two young girls in the upper-left and lower-right corner of the poster, along with a couple floating in a boat in the middle in utter romance, many of the local artists and makers were seen expressing their goodwill for the upcoming film in social media outlets, sharing the poster.
“Bhalobashay Buk Bhashaiya,” the first number from the film, will be released on September 16 on Youtube, confirmed the team. Penned by the director himself, famous composer Emon Saha has tuned and composed the number, which has been sung by Bappa Mazumder and Dinat Jahan Munni.
Set in a char (island), chronicling a love story, Gohin Baluchor revolves around the lives of three young romantics. The directorial début of Badrul Anam Saud features some new and fresh faces from the industry, alongside veteran and senior actors. The leads will be portrayed by young actors Abu Hurayra Tanvir, Jannatun Nur Moon, and Nilanjona Neela, while it features seasoned actors such as Raisul Islam Asad, Suborna Mustafa, Afroza Banu, Fazlur Rhaman Babu, Shahadat Hossain and Bannya Mirza.
Badrul Anam Saud wrote the film’s story, dialogue and screenplay. The National Filmmaking Grant winning film is made in support of Friends Movies International and Shaatkahon Productions.
Uttam Guha has worked as the art director of the film, while Wahida Mollick Jolly has been in charge of costumes. Emon Shaha has directed the film’s music, while Naziba Basher is the choreographer. Komol Chandra Das has worked behind the camera as the cinematographer. Produced by Satkahon and Friends Movies International, Jaaz Multimedia will distribute the film.
