Panic button is an initiative of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) and Grameenphone as part of service excellence and commitment to the safety of the citizen.
Your panic alert will be delivered to nearest police station, police control room and three of your friends and family including the address and GPS location.
You will need an active internet connection to avail the service and Tk5 will be charged per alert.
The GPS function of the handset has to be in active mode as the alert will contain your GPS location when available.
Any misuse will be addressed by DMP as per country’s prevailing rules and laws.
