In Pictures: Rain brings relief to Dhaka dwellers

Rain brought some much-needed relief to the residents of Dhaka from the scorching summer heat on Saturday. 

The met office in its 9am weather bulletin forecast that rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places.

People have been looking forward to rains as Bangladesh has been experiencing heatwaves for the last few weeks.
