In Pictures: Hatirjheel celebrates Padma Bridge opening with fireworks

The capital’s Hatirjheel area celebrated the inauguration of the much-awaited Padma Bridge with various kinds of colorful fireworks on Saturday night. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina opened the Padma Bridge officially on Saturday noon. Thousands of people from all walks of life joined the celebration nationwide to mark the historic day.
