For the second consecutive time, the BAF Shaheen College Dhaka has become champion of the 2nd season of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) Inter-College Football Tournament 2023.
The tournament held from 23-30 May on the AIUB sports field, said a press release issued on Thursday.
This year a total number of 48 teams participated in the tournament.
In the final match, BAF Shaheen College Dhaka beat Govt Science College by 1-0.
Professor Dr Abdur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, AIUB, along with Dr Zahidul Islam Khan, Registrar; Manzur H Khan, Proctor; Ziarat H Khan, Deputy Director, Student Welfare distributed prizes among the winners.
Every year the Office of Sports, AIUB organizes Inter-College tournaments as part of their outreach activities.
