After news broke last week that JK Rowling had released a new short story that gave readers a glimpse into Harry Potter’s life now that he’s all grown up, the author followed it up with another column about Harry, Hermione, Ron, their children, and the goings-on at a very important quidditch match.
The column is written from the point of view of Rita Skeeter, but Ginny Potter (former Weasley) is on hand to make sure that the tabloid journalist does not write in anything too crazy.
Of course, even with Ginny’s help, Skeeter can’t be stopped. She writes about how badly Percy looks, spills the beans on George Weasley’s relationship and basically libels and slanders all the luminaries of the wizarding world.
It’s a fantastic read if you’re interested in what happened to Harry and the gang once they all grew up, but even if you don’t care so much for their adventures, the twist ending is worth it alone.
