Efforts have been made to make this year’s Hay Fest more inclusive, as evidenced by programmes to suit visitors of every age and persuasion. Not least of these is the morning slot for children, which kicks off from today.
If you’re there early with the young ones, head over to the Imagination Tent, where poems and storytelling sessions await. The programme kicks off with a puppet show called “The Inventor’s Puppet”, featuring puppeteer Shuvankar Das Shuvo, and theatre artistes Sharmin Shangita Khanom, Sharmin Soheli Khanom Shoma, Shudip Das Dip and Abu Sayem Joy.
This will be followed by poetry and storytelling sessions aimed at children aged 6-12 years old, and will continue from 9 am to 12:15 pm.
