Eid Special for cinema-goers

Update : 10 Aug 2013, 02:05 PM

The Film Producers and Distributors Association have given clearance to four films to hit the cinemas this Eid. The films are Badiul Alam Khokan’s “My Name is Khan,” PA Kajol’s “Bhalobasa Ajkal,” Ananta Jalil’s “Nisshartho Bhalobasa” and Sajal Khaled’s “Kajol-er Dinratri.”

After last year’s big battle at the box office between two Dhalliwood megastars, Ananta Jalil with his “Nis-shartho Bhalobasha” and Shakib Khan with two big budget movies “Bhalobasha Ajkal” and “My Name is Khan” are again set to quake the box office. On the other hand, the Impress Telefilm produced and the government grants winning film “Kajol-er Dinratri,” directed by Sajal Khaled, will be premiered on Eid day on Channel-i.

“Kajol-er Dinratri” features a teen’s life based on a story by Muhammad Zafar Iqbal. Tarin, Al-Monsoor and Turan have enacted the major roles in the film.

Apu Biswas have enacted the lead character in the film “My Name is Khan” which depicts a stereotypical Dhallywood story—the conflict between poor and rich, through a love story.

On the other hand, Mahiya Mahi, who has created much hype amongst the film lovers as a newcomer, ap-pears with Shakib Khan in “Bhalobasha Ajkal.” According to the director, the music and fantastic locations are also added attractions of the romantic film.

Romantic-thriller film “Nihshartho Bhalobasha” has been directed and produced by Ananta Jalil. He had also played the protagonist in the film along with actors like Barsha, Razzak, Misha Shawdagarand Kabila and others.

While Ananta has secured a big fan base in a short period by giving one after one big-budget movies fea-turing many foreign artistes, Shakib Khan is still considered as the “number one” hero by many.

So, the on-screen rivalry of the two heartthrobs of our film industry is going to get bigger this time!
