Ten students and three faculty members from the various departments of BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) received “President Scholarship-2015” from the Masters Program at Wuhan Textile University (WTU), China, under their education collaboration agreement.
Faculty members selected for scholarship were Mohammed Irfan Iqbal and Soumya Chowdhury from the textile engineering department and Tanjibul Hasan from the fashion design and technology department.
The name of the students were Sourab Ghosh, Md Ashiqul Islam, Md Adnan Hossain from apparel manufacture & technology department; Atharul Islam Dipto, Md Shariful Islam, Md Tanvir Hayat from knitwear manufacture and technology department and Md Ataullah, Md Nazmul Haque Maruf, Md Moniruzzaman and Abdullah Jaman Jony from the fashion design & technology department.
The scholarships cover all the living and educational expenses.
