Do not ride on the roof of trains
One of the most common pictures during Eid or Puja vacation is this- hundreds of people riding not only inside the train, but also on the train, on the rooftop to be precise, and some even cling to windows at times. Do not let this picture fool you in believing that it’s okay to travel that way. It’s not. Riding on the outside of the train can cause fatal harm quite easily.
Rooftops of buses are forbidden too
And the same goes for buses as well. In the case of night travel, you might want to try avoiding lesser known bus services, as they tend to not adhere to traffic rules and this often results into accidents.

Stay away from illegal launch-hopping
To save a petty sum of money, many of us commit the shameful act of launch-hopping without tickets. What we do not understand is we are not the only one to be doing this, and every launch has a limited capacity. This act of ours can even lead to the launch sinking.
Stay away from food supplies given by strangers
Do not accept any kind of food or water from strangers while travelling. Many passengers have shared their stories of getting robbed, after having gulped down something that made them lose consciousness.
Avoid getting off your car in deserted roads
It’s best to avoid stopping your car in a completely deserted highway. Look for CNG stations - most of the time, they have restrooms and adjacent shops.
Avoid cheap munchies
These munchies are usually made with unhealthy spices which can easily upset our stomachs. And if that happens, you’d be seeing more of the insides of a bathroom stall than beautiful scenery, while traveling.
Remember, taking an extra cautionary step can save us from getting into trouble. Better be safe than sorry.
