In order to acknowledge the importance of health and urge stakeholders to reach UHC (Universal Health Coverage), WHO celebrated World Health Day on April 7. With this theme in mind, BRAC University Pharma Society held a three-day campaign which included an outdoor event, a quiz competition, and an indoor seminar and workshop, during these three days.
BUPS partnered up with Youth Walk Bangladesh to arrange an outdoor event for the underprivileged children living in the Tejgaon area, where children were given tips on on good health practices and tips to obtain balanced meals on a budget.
The next day an online quiz competition was held for the members on different health and related issues. The last day of the event was an indoor seminar and workshop and an hour-long yoga and meditation event exclusively for the female participants.
