What are halal cosmetics?
‘Halal’ commonly refers to the intake of food that complies with the religious rituals and observance of Sharia law. Likewise, halal products follow the same sequel of ingredients that meets the Sharia Law. All products come with a label certification; like organic or vegan products have certification, halal products too have their halal label certification which guarantees consumers that nothing in the product is used with forbidden components.
Their story
Although Bangladesh had witnessed various halal skin care products, there was a lack of halal products for toiletries and personal care. With premium packaging and proper market research, Farzana Mahjabin Rahman, the founder of Zahraa Enterprise brought the halal certified Malaysian brand, Good Virtues Co. to Bangladesh in 2017 by collaborating with the international venture.
