The founding managing director of Shohoj limited has been recognised as a Young Global Leader (YGL) of 2017 by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
Maliha M Quadir gained extensive experiences in digital services and investment banking before going it alone with the launch of Shohoz.com in 2014.
She ran Vistaprint’s digital business in global emerging markets out of Singapore and worked at Morgan Stanley in New York, Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore, and Nokia.
Now the Havard Business School graduate is included in a select group of individuals under 40 who are radically changing their industry, policy-making and society.
The WEF describes its annual group of WEF Young Global Leaders as "exceptional next-generation leaders who are bold, brave, action-oriented, and entrepreneurial who have two main characteristics: they have achieved their success young and have committed their lives to making a positive impact on society".
