We're all familiar with the concept of gender equality, ensuring both men and women have equal fundamental rights. However, have we paused to consider why it's deemed so crucial and emphasized?

According to a survey conducted by the World Economic Forum, 48% of working women have faced gender discrimination at work globally, leaving them with limited roles in office.

By avidly promoting gender equality in the workplace, organizations can enhance their company and brand reputation. 

According to a study by Glassdoor, 76% of job seekers and employees view a diverse workforce as crucial when assessing job opportunities. Additionally, 32% indicated they would refrain from applying to companies that demonstrate a clear lack of diversity among their employees.

Greater profitability

Research consistently shows that fostering an inclusive company culture, which prioritizes gender equality, leads to higher profitability. 

The International Labour Organization highlights that businesses and policies embracing inclusivity have a 63% higher chance of achieving increased profitability. 

McKinsey further reinforces this, revealing that companies with gender-diverse executive teams are 25% more likely to outperform their peers in profitability.

While there has been ample debate about the significance of gender equality in workplaces with successful outcomes like reduced wage gaps or equal opportunities, some women would still give an arm and a leg to even be hired by a company celebrating gender equality.
