Rahima Wadud, mother of Education Minister Dipu Moni, passed away on Friday.
She died at her residence in the capital's Kalabagan around 12pm, according to a release of the ministry.
The education minister is currently staying in United Kingdom in an official tour from where she will return to country on Sunday morning.
Then, her mother will be buried.
