Sunday is the 26th death anniversary of Dr Sofia Hasna Jahan Ali Dolly, professor of Department of Economics at University of Dhaka.
She was the wife of Dr Shaikh Maqsood Ali who was the founder rector of the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center (BPATC).
Dr Sofia Hasna Jahan Ali served as the president of the Lioness Club of Dhaka East and the vice-president of the Bangladesh Economic Association.
She was also a renowned sportswoman and sports organizer.
Dr Sofia's family members seek kind prayers of well-wishers for the salvation of her soul.
