Former producer of Bangladesh Television (BTV) Mohammad Barkatullah passed away on Monday at the city’s Green Life Hospital. He was 77.
He is left behind by his wife, renowned dancer Zeenat Barkatullah, and his two daughters — popular actor Bijori Barkatullah and Kajori Barkatullah.
Earlier On Monday, his daughter Bijori had posted on Facebook about Barkatullah being taken to the ICU of the hospital. According to her post, he was put on a ventilator and was diagnosed with Covid-19.
Apart from BTV, Mohammad Barkatullah, was also the head of Channel One and Banglavision.
Besides coronavirus, Barkatullah had other physical complications.
