President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have expressed their profound shock at the death of Mehjabeen Rashid Choudhury, wife of former Speaker Humayun Rashid Choudhury.
They issued separate messages in this regard on Thursday.
President Hamid, in his condolence message, prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and expressed his sympathy to the bereaved family members.
In another message, Prime Minister Hasina prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed her deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
