“Maya Masnad,” a Bangladeshi fictional drama serial based on “Alif Laila,” began airing on NTV yesterday.
A premiere show was organized at the Tejgaon studio of NTV on Saturday evening. The artistes and producers of the show attended the premiere.
NTV’s Chief of Program, Mustafa Kamal Syed, said: “People have always been interested in fairytales. That's why ‘Alif Laila’ was so much loved and appreciated. From that very perspective, I believe that 'Maya Masnad' will also be liked by everyone. The show resorts to VFX and 3D graphics to portray the visionary essence of a fairytale. The drama is really very well constructed.”
Penned by Arindam Guho, “Maya Masnad” is directed by SM Salah Uddin. Atikur Rahman Belal is the episode supervisor while Maksudul Haque Imu is the sequence supervisor. Tanim Sarkar is managing the tremendous responsibility of VFX.
NTV’s Assistant Program General Manager, Alfred Khokon, highlighted the show by saying: "The drama focuses a lot on violence and vengeance. There will also be other attractions which will amaze the audience.”
“Maya Masnad” features Sohel Rana, Saberi Alam, Shatabdi Wadud, Golam Farida Chanda, Mousumi Nag, Elora Gohor, Shampa Reza, Niloy Alamgir, and many more in various roles. The teleplay serial will be broadcast on NTV every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday at 8:20pm.
