Moviyana Film Society and Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy are hosting a three-day-long workshop titled “Adam Surot Theke Runway,” focused on the films of renowned film-maker couple, Tareque Masud and Catherine Masud. The film-maker couple have produced 15 films together over almost three decades.
The 15 films include short fictions, experimental shorts, a documentary, and multiple feature length films.
The workshop will mark the 7th death anniversary of the talented film-maker Tareque Masud, and cinematographer Mishuk Munier, on August 13. The two died in a tragic car crash.
The workshop will be conducted by film-maker Catherine Masud, film researcher Professor Fahmidul Haq, film critic Professor A Al Mamun, film-maker and writer Nurul Alam Atique, and film-makers Proshoon Rahmaan and Belayat Hossain Mamun.
The workshop will take place at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on August 11, 12, and 13, from 10am to 8pm, each day.
