Football fans create new sensations at every Fifa World Cup. The South Africa World Cup gave us the notorious vuvuzelas, and the Russia World Cup has now given us responsible, admirable fans who clean up after themselves.
After the Japan match with Colombia, the Japanese fans cleaned up the bleachers in an extraordinary show of utmost sincerity. The same gesture was repeated by Senegal football fans after their match against Poland.
This is my favourite moment of the World Cup so far; Japan fans picking up litter after their victory vs Columbia. The lessons in life we can take from the game. Why I support ?? #class✅#respect✅#WorldCup pic.twitter.com/FyYLhAGDbi

Is this the new trend?
Could we see more football fans clean up after themselves?

Football matches see snacks, confetti, and numerous other assortments of items which ultimately litter the stands. With the rise of the responsible fans who clean up after themselves, we can only praise those who have started the initiative, and encourage those who have not.
