A video made by Brazilian Facebook user Victor Silva of his unique cover of Guns n' Roses’ hit song “Sweet Child O’ Mine” has gone viral on Facebook.
Posted late last week, the original video already has 2.2 million views.
The video shows Victor playing the notes of the song one at a time on an acoustic guitar while in different positions around the house. Along with this, he adds bizarre sound effects such as a toy horn, a shout, a closing door, and himself crashing into plastic chairs, in order to emulate the other instruments in the song. Strung together afterwards, the overall effect is not only hilarious, but almost aurally pleasing. The icing on the cake is his expressions, which range from deadpan to a full grin.
Victor’s profile states that he is a video editor on YouTube since March 26, 2017, though this is by far his only work to gain any popularity.
