Bangladeshi engineer's patent gets accepted in the US

A young software engineer from Bangladesh has had his patent listed in the US Patents and Trademark Office. The name of his patent is “3D Object Localization for Obstacle Avoidance Using One-Shot CNN.” The name of the young man is Shehzad Noor Taus. His patent was listed at the office of US Patents and Trademark last week. Shehzad is currently studying computer science at the University of British Columbia. He is also working as a deep learning software engineer at the American technology company NVIDIA. This is the young engineer’s first patent application. He expressed via a Facebook status that this is his biggest achievement yet. This is also his first contribution in the field of artificial intelligence.
