Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC organized a Customer Awareness and Financial Literacy Program in Shaplapur area of Teknaf Upazila, Cox’s Bazar recently.
The program aimed to enhance customers’ financial literacy, promote safe banking practices, and raise awareness about preventing financial fraud.
Md Iqbal Mohasin, director (FID) of Bangladesh Bank, attended the program as chief guest.
Md Ali Hossain, additional director (FID) of Bangladesh Bank and Abul Laise Mohd. Khaled, head of agent banking division of Islami Bank, attended as special guests.
The program was presided over by Abdul Naser, executive vice president and head of Chattogram South Zone of the bank.
Mohammad Burhan Uddin Khan, head of Cox’s Bazar Branch, Mohammad Saifullah, head of Teknaf Branch, along with agent banking entrepreneurs were also present.
