Community Bank Bangladesh PLC. celebrated its 7th anniversary with a commitment to moving towards new heights through transformation, growth and sustainability, following seven years of achievements and experiences.
The day was marked by various programs organized by the bank’s officials and employees. Building on its achievements over the past seven years and harnessing future opportunities, they expressed their determination to advance the bank as a more modern, technology-driven and sustainable banking institution.
As part of the anniversary celebration, Inspector General of Police, Bangladesh and chairman of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC Md Ali Hossain Fakir cut the anniversary cake at Police Headquarters.
Also present at the event were Md Akram Hossain, Additional IGP (Finance), Bangladesh Police; Kazi Md Fazlul Karim, Additional IG and Rector, Police Staff College, Bangladesh Police; Md Kamrul Ahsan, Deputy Inspector General (Confidential), Bangladesh Police; Ahmad Muyeed, Additional DIG, Bangladesh Police Kallyan Trust, Bangladesh Police; Kamrul Hasan Talukdar, Inspector, Bangladesh Police; Md Morshed Hasan Khan, independent director; Syed Rafiqul Haq, independent director; Mohammed Tofazzul Hussain, independent director; Mohammed Emtiaz Uddin, managing director, Community Bank Bangladesh PLC.; along with senior officials of the bank.
At the event, Chairman of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC and Inspector General of Police, Bangladesh Md Ali Hossain Fakir said: “The trust and capabilities that Community Bank has built over the past seven years are a matter of great pride. We look forward to the bank playing an even more important role in the country’s economic progress by ensuring more modern, customer-friendly and sustainable banking services in the future.”
Managing Director Mohammed Emtiaz Uddin said: “Our commitment on the occasion of Community Bank’s 7th anniversary is to make the bank stronger and take it to new heights through transformation, growth and sustainability in the days ahead.”
He added: “In its seven years of operation, Community Bank has built a strong foundation. This achievement is an inspiration for our future journey. Alongside further improving technology, innovation and service quality in line with the changing banking sector, we must give the highest priority to our customers’ trust and expectations. At the same time, we must further strengthen our contribution to the country’s economic progress through responsible and sustainable banking.”
The Head Office of Community Bank also wore a festive look on the occasion.
Managing Director Mohammed Emtiaz Uddin, along with officials and employees from different levels of the bank, cut the anniversary cake to celebrate the 7th anniversary.
The occasion created an atmosphere of joy and emotion among the officials and employees as they reflected on the memories, achievements and experiences of the bank’s seven-year journey.
Following the celebration, the bank’s officials and employees shared memories, experiences and achievements from its seven-year journey. Their reflections brought forward the story of an institution’s growth, the experience of overcoming various challenges and the many memorable moments of their professional association with Community Bank.
Building on the achievements of the past seven years and embracing the promise of a new beginning, the officials and employees renewed their commitment to moving forward with greater determination, dedication and confidence.
They expressed their aspiration that, through collective efforts, technology-driven innovation, continuous improvement and sustainable growth, Community Bank will play an even more important and responsible role in the financial progress of Bangladesh in the years ahead.
At the same time, Community Bank aims to establish itself as a trusted, sustainable and cashless Bank in Bangladesh by 2029.
