The 26th Annual General Meeting of Dhaka Bank Limited was held virtually on Tuesday. Abdul Hai Sarker, chairman of Dhaka Bank, presided over the meeting.
A total of 6% cash and 6% stock dividend was approved in the AGM for the year 2020, said a press release.
Shareholders passed their valuable comments on the audited financial statements for the year ended on December 31, 2020 and regarding the activities of the bank.
Vice Chairman Abdullah Al Ahsan, Founder Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed, Former Chairman ATM Hayatuzzaman Khan, Managing Director and CEO Emranul Huq, and Company Secretary Md. Shahjahan Miah attended the AGM.
Directors Reshadur Rahman, Altaf Hossain Sarker, Mohammed Hanif, Rokshana Zaman, Md. Amirullah, Khondoker Monir Uddin, Tahidul Hossain Chowdhury, Jashim Uddin, Mirza Yasser Abbas, Amanullah Sarker, Manoara Khandaker, Rakhi Das Gupta, as well as independent Directors Messrs. MA Yussouf Khan, Md Muzibur Rahman, AS Salahuddin Ahmed participated in the 26th AGM.
The AGM was held via a digital platform, according to Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission’s directives.
