Dhaka Bank PLC distributed modern agricultural machinery among 300 (approx) local farmers in Belkuchi Upazila of Sirajganj district as part of Special Corporate Social Responsibility (Agriculture).
This distribution program was conducted with the aim of increasing productivity in agriculture and facilitating farming through the use of modern machinery held on Saturday.
Abdul Hai Sarker, chairman of Dhaka Bank PLC and Bangladesh Association of Banks was present as the chief guest at the event and distributed agricultural machinery among the farmers.
Md Mostaque Ahmed, deputy managing director and CEMO, Sahabub Alam Khan, SEVP and chief financial officer of Dhaka Bank, Afia Sultana, UNO, Belkuchi, Protik Mandal, AC Land, Belkuchi Thana, Katebur Rahman, EVP and head of Agricultural Banking Division along with other high officials of Dhaka Bank were present at that event.
Md Mostaque Ahmed, deputy managing director of Dhaka Bank said: "The use of modern technology and machinery is very important for agricultural development of our country. This initiative will help bring positive changes in the agricultural sector of Bangladesh."

The farmers received the initiative very positively and expressed their gratitude to Dhaka Bank. According to them, using these equipments will save both time and labor in farming and increase the yield. They appreciated Dhaka Bank's activities to revolutionize agricultural development and expressed their gratitude for bring with them always.
