Pubali Bank PLC entered into a partnership with DHL to launch the GoGreen Plus Carbon Reduced Shipping Service.
Mohammad Ali, managing director and CEO of Pubali Bank and Md Miarul Haque, managing director of DHL Express Bangladesh signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, deputy managing director; Nishat Maisura Rahman, general manager and division head of International Division of Pubali Bank were present at the ceremony held at bank’s head office.
This collaboration underscores both organizations' commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible business practices, aiming to offset greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and contribute to a greener future.
The GoGreen Plus package will support Pubali Bank in advancing its Net Zero Target by effectively mitigating its carbon footprint by utilizing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for their shipments.
