The 10th annual general meeting (AGM) of Union Bank was held through a digital platform on Thursday.
The Vice-Chairman of the bank Mollah Fazle Akbar presided over the meeting, reads a press release.
Directors and shareholders of the bank participated in the meeting.
Managing Director and CEO of the bank ABM Mokammel Hoque Chowdhury gave the welcome speech at the meeting.
The meeting approved the financial statements of the bank for the year 2022 and a 5% cash dividend.
In the president's speech, Vice-Chairman Mollah Fazle Akbar gave thanks to all the entrepreneurs, directors, shareholders, customers, depositors, officers and employees of the bank.
He also thanked the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), DSE, CSE, Bangladesh Bank and all other regulators.
