Rangs Group remembers its Founder and Chairman Akhter Hussain on his first death anniversary.
Akhter Hussain breathed his last on Friday, February 11, 2022 at the age of 72. He was buried in the family graveyard at his village home at Khaokhir in Nalchity upazila of Jhalokathi district.
He was one of the forerunners who actively worked for the exceptional growth of the electronic industry in Bangladesh by starting the business in 1984 with the establishment of Rangs Electronics Limited, well known as Sony-Rangs, reads a press release.
Eventually expanded the business tree in many sectors like motorbike, pharmaceuticals, petro chemicals, motor, cargo & shipping, construction & engineering etc. He was serving as the Chairman of Rangs Electronics, Pharmasia, White Products & Electronics; Hussain Trading Company; REL Motors; REL Petro Chemicals; Skybangla Aviation; Sharp Travels and Vice-Chairman of TVS Auto Bangladesh.
He was also been the inspiration for other concern named Pharma Solutions BD; Face Me; First Imperial BD; Islam Brothers Construction & Engineering etc.
All the members of Rangs Group of companies; employees from all sister concerns join in the Dua Mahfil along with his family & friends at Rangs HQ, Sonartori Tower, Banglamotor, Dhaka.
Akhter will be remembered for his inspiring leadership, kind hearted welcoming persona and as a leading entrepreneur in his field his legacy lives on countless well-wishers.
