NRB Bank’s chairman honoured CIP Status for consecutive 10 years along with 3 family members

Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman, chairman of NRB Bank and chairman & managing director of Al Haramain Perfumes Group of Companies, UAE along with his spouse Bayzun N Chowdhury, director of NRB Bank, his son  Mohammed Emadur Rahman, director of Al Arafa Islami Bank and his younger brother  Mohammed Oliur Rahman, director of NRBC Bank has been honoured as 'Commercially Important Person' (CIP) by the Bangladesh government for their outstanding contributions to the country's economy.

Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman received the award from  Imran Ahmad, Minister of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment at a ceremony held at Osmani Memorial Auditorium, Dhaka on Sunday, reads a press release.  

Rahman has clinched the title of the Highest Remittance Sender among the remitters through the proper channels for the year 2020 in the NRB Category. 

He achieved CIP status for consecutive 10 years. Anisul Islam Mahmud, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee, Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment was also present on this occasion.
