NRB Bank formally launched an eKYC named NRB Quick Account on September 29 at the bank’s Corporate Head Office in Dhaka.
Chairman of the bank Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman formally inaugurated the program, reads a press release.
Managing Director & CEO Mamoon Mahmood Shah, Advisor Md Mukhter Hossain, Deputy Managing Director Kazi Ahsan Khalil and other senior officials of the bank along with Managing Director of Giga Tech Samira Zuberi Himika were present in the program.
eKYC is a combination of paperless customer onboarding, promptly identifying and verifying customer identity, maintaining a KYC profile in a digital form and determining customer risk grading through digital means.
Customers can open an account with their NID through “NRB Quick Account” from any time anywhere. The link can be found on NRB Bank’s website.
