Taxpayers in Dhaka North will receive a 10% rebate while filing their taxes online until November 30.
To familiarize taxpayers and traders with the digital method, the deadline for both offers has been extended, according to the announcement by Dhaka North public relations office.
It has been recommended that taxpayers take advantage of the rebate offer by paying holding tax for the current fiscal year in four instalments with dues within the extended term and that businesses take advantage of the surcharge-free trade license renewal offer.
The measure also strengthens Dhaka North's automated revenue management system while easing the burdens on traders and taxpayers, according to the press release.
