The government appointed new Managing Directors to Sonali Bank, Rupali Bank and Agrani Bank.
The Ministry of Finance’s Financial Institution Division issued three separate circulars regarding the appointments on Sunday.
According to one of the circulars, Managing Director of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation Afzal Karim has been appointed as the MD and CEO of Sonali Bank for the next three years.
Meanwhile, Rupali Bank's Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Jahangir has been promoted to the post of its Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank Murshedul Kabir has been made MD and CEO of Agrani Bank for a three-year term.
