Islamic Banks Consultative Forum (IBCF), the apex organization of the banks having Islamic operations in Bangladesh, organized a National seminar on Saturday at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka on “Islamic Banking System: with Reference to National Integrity and Ethical Banking.”
Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Abu Farah Md Nasser was the chief guest and the Chairman of IBCF Professor Anwarul Azim Arif presided over the seminar.
Managing Director and CEO of Exim Bank Dr Mohammed Haider Ali Miah presented the key-note paper in the seminar while Managing Director and CEO of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited Mohammed Monirul Moula, Managing Director and CEO of First Security Islami Bank Syed Wasek Md Ali and Managing Director and CEO of Social Islami Bank Zafar Alam also delivered their speech.
The Vice-Chairman of IBCF and Convener of the seminar preparatory committee AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul was the moderator of the seminar.
Economists, educationists, directors and CEOs of different banks, Islamic scholars, business leaders and local elites were present in the program.
