Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA) signed a new contract with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) for the Project titled “Land Development Works (Mirsarai Zone)” on Tuesday.
The contract signing ceremony was chaired by Executive Chairman of BEZA Shaikh Yusuf Harun, in presence of all top officials of BEZA at Biniyog Bhaban of Agargaon in Dhaka, reads a press release.
On behalf of the contractor company, the Authorized Representative of CCECC Ke Changliang along with CCECC Bangladesh officials were present in the contract signing ceremony.
The program host (BEZA official) started the program by welcoming everyone. After that, Ke Changliang delivered his speech. He said that this is the fourth project of CCECC working for BEZA.
“Along with these projects, we are also implementing the country’s many development projects and we are proud to be a development partner of Bangladesh,” he added.
He also expressed to BEZA Chairman that although the project duration is one year, they shall try their best to complete it by the next three months.
After that, the program chair, Executive Chairman of BEZA delivered his speech where he mentioned the necessity and priority of Economic Zones of Bangladesh Government and also mentioned through this, Project Mirsarai Economic Zone is going to get more lands.
He also appreciated CCECC for sharing their intention to complete the project by the next three months. He further instructed all officials to cooperate for proper implementation.
