This Ramadan, Obhizatrik Foundation, in partnership with ShopUp, have pledged to raise funds for at least 1,000 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) who have potential but require support to survive amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

For the past five years, ShopUp has solved the capital problems of a huge number of small entrepreneurs, who play an important role in the country's economy, says a press release.

Obhizatrik Foundation, established in 2010, has already provided seed capital in the form of grants to 492 entrepreneurs in the past two years, under Project Shokkhom.

This year, the two organizations have been working together for Project Shokkhom on a much bigger scale.

With the money raised for the entrepreneurs, they will be providing for a steady source of income for them, which ensures long term financial security.

A lot of SMEs are going through a difficult time not only conducting business but also supporting their families. ShopUp and Obhizatrik want to support them during this difficult time.
