The Annual General Meeting of the Association of Television Channel Owners (Atco) was held on November 8, at the Sheraton Hotel in Banani, Dhaka.
Members of the association, executive committee leaders, and relevant representatives attended.
The meeting was chaired by Atco president Anjan Chowdhury.
The meeting included detailed discussions on the association’s recent activities, organizational progress, financial report, and the overall state of the country’s television broadcasting sector.
Based on members’ views and proposals, participants discussed future plans, matters concerning members’ interests, and ways to advance the television industry.
Following the annual general meeting, a new executive committee was formed through an election.
The newly elected leadership is as follows: Anjan Chowdhury, president; Kazi Jahedul Hasan, vice-president; Abdus Salam, general secretary; and Zahiruddin Mahmud Mamun, treasurer.

The newly elected committee leaders expressed their commitment to making the association’s activities more dynamic, protecting the interests and professional standing of member television channels, and working together to advance the country’s broadcasting industry.
Members attending the meeting emphasized the importance of maintaining mutual cooperation and unity to further the association’s organizational activities.
